Beyond the electric guitars, thundering drums, and full-band energy, there’s something incredibly special about going back to basics—just raw musicianship, soulful playing, and the kind of deep, heartfelt performances that only an intimate setting can bring. That’s exactly what we set out to capture in our brand-new live “Unplugged” session.
Inspired by Eric Clapton’s legendary MTV Unplugged album, we wanted to recreate that stripped-down magic, focusing on the pure essence of the music. No big production, no distractions—just the warmth of acoustic guitars, rich harmonies, and the unmistakable groove that makes Clapton’s music timeless.
Recording this session was an absolute joy, allowing us to explore a different side of these songs. It also brought its own set of challenges—when everything is laid bare, there’s no hiding behind effects or big arrangements. It’s all about feeling every note and letting the music breathe.
One of our favourite moments from the session was capturing Damo & Simon playing "Hey Hey", a fun, bluesy acoustic tune full of energy and feel. We’re sharing a short behind-the-scenes clip, giving you a taste of what’s to come. Expect more gems from the session soon, featuring stripped-back versions of some of Clapton’s most beloved tracks.
