Over the past week, our very own Sam Goddard has been hard at work, carefully mixing the audio and editing the five streams of 4K video from our recent Unplugged session. The results are shaping up to be something truly special, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
It’s incredible to think how far technology has come. When Eric Clapton filmed his legendary Unplugged album back in 1992, it required a huge production team, expensive studio time, and post-production editing on high-end equipment. These days, with just five cameras and a multi-track mixing desk, we’re able to achieve a similar quality—capturing the raw, intimate energy of a live acoustic performance while keeping it looking and sounding amazing.
A massive thank you goes out to John Kye, who expertly filmed the session, and Scott Negus, who recorded and engineered the audio. Their hard work has helped us bring this project to life in a way that feels both authentic and professional.
Stay tuned—we’ll be sharing more from this Unplugged session very soon! In the meantime, above is a sneak peek at the editing process, from Sam in action behind the scenes.
