If you caught our last blog, you’ll know we’re bringing An Evening of Clapton to Hampton Hub Club on Saturday 18th May – a full evening of live, no-nonsense, no-tricks Clapton classics from the Cream years through to 24 Nights. But here’s the thing – Saturday nights at the Hub tend to sell out fast, and we’re expecting this one to be no exception.
Since our first run of shows, and the viral success of our in-studio rendition of Sunshine of Your Love, we’ve been overwhelmed by the support – with over 3,000 followers and counting. And with Hampton Hub’s reputation for quality live music and its intimate, up-close setting, it’s the perfect venue to experience our completely live take on Clapton’s finest.
We don’t use backing tracks or click tracks – just five musicians (and one phenomenal backing vocalist!) playing their hearts out, exactly as it should be. And trust us, when Badge kicks in, or the outro of Layla fills the room, you’ll want to be there.
